Pecanland Mall continues its partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Ouachita with the placement of a coin cansiter near the carousel at center court. The partnership started in 2007 with a "Family Portraits" event and continued in 2008 with "The Giving Spree", a Holiday Charity Shopping Event. The coin canister is a unique canister that will cause the deposited coin to make several trips around the top of the canister on its way to the collection area at the bottom. Coins can also be deposited at the side of the canister which gives the coin something of a roller coaster ride to the bottom. There is also a slot for those supporters that wish to donate folding money! Visit Pecanland Mall soon and while there, visit the center court and make a donation to Habitat .
